The gate in front of the palace says 'Shuntian Palace', the small characters on the left side say 'Lubanrang', and the right side says '1993'. Don't be misled by the words '1993', thinking that this is a temple with a history of only 27 years. In fact, Shuntian Palace has a history of 179 years. It was founded in 1821 and its original site was on Baraba Street (commonly known as 'Pak Sha Fu', also known as 'Lu Ban Rang').
